About Me

Hi my name is Linda Ju-Ong.  I was born and raised in Taiwan.   I had my elementary and middle school education in Taiwan. When I was 13 years old my family immigrated to the United States.  I graduated from Warren High School in Downey and received my Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Long Beach. I am currently working for San Bernardino City Unified School District under the adult education division as a Teacher on Special Assignment.
I like to read, visit museums and listen to classical music during my free time.

I took some graphic design classes when I was attending at CSULB.    I really enjoyed those classes and have learned how to create art works on computers by using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.  I like technology and always want to learn new programs or app. whenever I have the chance.  I am a type a person who can spend hours on the computer and not get tired of it.

One of the goals that I want to accomplish from the Masters of Educational Multimedia program is to learn how to create and design a website.  I have wanted to take computer programming classes for a long time.
My second goal is to  bring back what I have learned from this program to my school. Many adult education teachers do not welcome technology!  I am hoping that I can share or inspire them in some way.

  1. It seems that you now more about using these programs than most people in our class. Thank you for the post on my blog. I haven't had time to update anything on it yet. How do you like teaching? I had a great time teaching English in Korea.

  2. I've always been interested in graphic design. I just never had the time or patience to learn it yet. I hope I will get a chance to dabble with it soon.

  3. Nice to know that you take both Monday and Tuesday's classes too. We definitely have opportunity to know each other more.
